1 ¾ cups milk
¼ cup sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
3 eggs, beaten slightly
1 tsp. vanilla
nutmeg

Heat milk in a glass measure in the microwave on full power for 3-4 minutes. Blend together the sugar, salt and the eggs. Gradually stir the egg mixture into the hot milk. Stir in the vanilla. Pour into 4 custard cups. Sprinkle the top of each cup with nutmeg. Arrange the cups in a circle in the microwave. Cook on level 4 for 9-12 minutes or until set but still quivering. Serve warm or cool at room temperature.
