Vegetables Scalloped Potatoes

Recipe Ingredients
6 medium potatoes
3 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. flour
3 cups milk
1 tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. chopped onion
½ cup cubed cooked ham (optional)




Recipe Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F. Peel potatoes and cut into thin slices. Layer into an ungreased baking dish with onions and ham. Sprinkle with the salt and pepper. Stir milk and flour together with a wire whisk. Pour over potatoes. Dot with the butter. Cover and bake at 400°F for one hour. Uncover and finish baking. Potatoes are done when bubbly and partially browned on top. Sauce will thicken as they are allowed to cool slightly for a few minutes before serving.
